Join us as UX / UI Designer – Video Products (m/f/d) on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You design intuitive, user-centered experiences for professional media technology products such as multiviewers, video compression, video glue functions and media chains.
  • You collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to translate user needs, workflows, and business requirements into compelling UX/UI concepts.
  • You create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to explore, validate, and refine product ideas and interactions.
  • You design responsive user interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms while ensuring consistency across the product portfolio.
  • You contribute to the evolution of our design systems, information architecture, and UX standards to create a unified user experience across products.
  • You plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops to validate assumptions and continuously improve product usability.
  • You maintain and further develop design libraries, UX resources, and documentation to support collaboration across teams.
  • You facilitate workshops and design discussions with internal stakeholders and customers to align expectations and drive user-focused product decisions.

THAT'S YOU

  • Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Media Design, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field; equivalent practical experience is also welcome
  • 4+ years of experience in UX/UI Design or Product Design, ideally within complex software, enterprise applications, or professional technology environments
  • Experience designing end-to-end user experiences, from research and concept development through to high-fidelity designs and implementation support
  • Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and a solid understanding of design systems, information architecture, and interaction design principles
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions
  • Experience in broadcast, media technology, live production, video workflows, or other professional media environments is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, engaging, and user-focused way
  • Highly collaborative, self-driven, and detail-oriented personality with fluent English skills; German and additional languages are a plus
