RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports and entertainment sectors. To cover our customers' needs holistically, we are divided into three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology & Riedel Networks.

The central division "Corporate Services" supports our divisions in organization and handling of all transactional processes. Therefore, it's building the economic foundation of the divisions. The division also makes a significant contribution to the fulfilment of corporate goals by accelerating processes.

We are looking for a Director Group Controlling (m/f/d) who goes beyond traditional reporting and actively steers the business. This role is designed for an execution-oriented finance leader who translates financial insights into concrete management actions and drives performance across the organization. You will play a central role in performance management, transparency, and decision support for senior leadership.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You act as a strategic business partner to the CFO, executive management, and business unit leaders and foster cross-functional collaboration, including close alignment with HR on KPI-based steering.
  • You drive group-wide performance management frameworks and translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable steering recommendations.
  • You challenge business assumptions, ensure fact-based decision-making, and identify as well as execute value creation and cost-saving opportunities.
  • You lead the group-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes and continuously develop the management reporting system with a focus on business performance.
  • You provide transparent performance analyses, develop and track KPIs across business units, and ensure alignment between financial targets and operational execution.
  • You drive process harmonization and SAP implementation, establish controlling standards, and implement tools (including AI-based reporting) to improve data quality, efficiency, and transparency.
  • You lead and develop the Group Controlling team, foster a culture of ownership and business partnership, and build strong relationships with finance and operational stakeholders.

THAT'S YOU

  • 10+ years of experience in controlling, finance, performance management, or similar commercial roles
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus)
  • Proven track record in group controlling or corporate finance within complex organizations
  • Ownership mentality and a strong execution mindset with the ability to translate financial data into concrete business actions
  • Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Experience in driving change initiatives and implementing financial processes, ideally in international or multi-entity environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams
