YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You act as the primary liaison between the globally distributed Live Production engineering teams, the Product Managers, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on product goals and priorities.
  • You are shaping the product’s technical direction and creating detailed user stories that translate the product vision into actionable deliveries for the Live Production Development Teams.
  • You are collaborating closely with engineering throughout the entire development lifecycle—actively joining refinement sessions, validating domain models, providing GUI mock-ups, reviewing implementation progress, and jointly solving challenges during development.
  • You are working hands‑on with developers, architects, and QA specialists to clarify workflows, technical edge cases, acceptance criteria, and operational constraints, ensuring every feature can be delivered end‑to‑end with confidence.
  • You are driving backlog prioritization based on business value, technical feasibility, and dependencies, ensuring that high‑impact features are delivered first and that development teams always have a clear, structured roadmap.
  • You maintain the current product line by overseeing lifecycle management activities, monitoring reliability and performance in production, and planning the next generation of Live Production solutions with Riedel’s long-term strategy in mind.

THATS YOU

  • Degree / completed studies in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field or a comparable qualification.
  • 8+ years’ experience in relevant Product Management, Product Owner or similar role in product development.
  • Proven experience working closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and experience in creating user stories.
  • Experience in a technical role within R&D and strong understanding of operational domain models, domain rules, and technical specifications, ideally in the Broadcasting industry / Broadcast Systems, especially Live Audio and Video workflows.
  • Familiarity with user journeys, GUI design principles, and UX best practices.
  • Experienced in backlog ownership, prioritization, and agile development processes.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to clearly convey complex technical and non‑technical topics across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Skilled in balancing technical constraints with business priorities, keeping alignment across teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (e.g., R&D hubs, tradeshows, customer visits).
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken); German skills are an asset.
