Join us as Broadcast Test Engineer (m/f/d) on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You develop and execute tests for audio, intercom and video products, ensuring product reliability and performance.
  • You integrate, maintain, and enhance test environments, including infrastructure and equipment, to support ongoing product development.
  • You collaborate with internal and external R&D teams for error analysis and actively contribute to product development.
  • You will be representing the system test team during the introduction of new products and participating in regular product developing meetings.

THAT'S YOU

  • Several years of practical experience in broadcast technology, ideally training as a media, audio or video engineer (m/f/d).
  • Sound knowledge of Medio-over-IP technologies (e.g. SMPTE2110, AES67, NMOS, PTP) and baseband media technologies (e.g. SDI, MADI, AES3).
  • Very good knowledge of IP network technology (TCP/UDP/IP) and basic knowledge of Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and Debian.
  • Understanding of test methods and experience in carrying out various tests such as performance, usability, interoperability and regression.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English to communicate effectively in multinational teams.
