RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports and entertainment sectors. To cover our customers' needs holistically, we are divided into three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology & Riedel Networks!  

Our Managed Technology division rents out our audio, video, IT and communication solutions for international live events and offers a comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation. It's not just about festivals, like Rock am Ring or sporting events - like Formula 1 or the Super Bowl - but also about guaranteeing all guests a thrilling experience. 

We are looking for freelancers to support us during a major event from July 1st to July 31st, 2025.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up and configuring racks and switches as part of our DIVA systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations
  • Installing and configuring radio systems based on provided documentation
  • Reprogramming radio and intercom devices to adjust them on-site
  • Providing technical support for all aspects of network, intercom, and radio – you are the go-to person for quick solutions and assistance

THAT'S YOU

  • Completed technical training, e.g., as a mechatronics technician, event technician, electronics technician for devices and systems, IT technician, or communications electronics technician
  • Experience in network technology and ideally with DIVA systems
  • Passion for radio, intercom, audio, and IT technology, along with a willingness to continuously develop your skills
  • Initial experience in event technology or the broadcast sector is beneficial but not a must
  • Independent and solution-oriented work style
  • Enthusiasm for the technical implementation of projects and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, for communication with international teams
  • Willingness to be on-site for the event in the Ruhr area and Berlin
