Join us as Validation Engineer – IT Hardware & System Integration (m/f/d) on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be establishing this new role at our location in Wuppertal and for that:

  • You own the selection, validation and adoption of Computer Technologies (such as GPUs, CPUs etc.) to support the different Product Group’s products at RIEDEL.
  • You will lead the process of defining and implementing standard platforms and use benchmarking and automated testing to ensure IT platforms are working properly.
  • You will be responsible for creating and maintaining system images, transferring them to manufacturing, and supporting the product team in developing clear and testable requirements for hardware platforms.
  • You will be closely collaborating with different departments and regularly discuss about the technology landscape to enable informed product decisions within Windows or Linux based systems.

THAT'S YOU

  • A degree in Computer Science, vocational training in IT or relevant industry experience.
  • Having worked in a Computer Technology or Architecture role covering the Benchmarking, Validation and Support of Platforms for at least 3 years.
  • In-depth experience in working with GPU, multi-CPU platforms and Disks / Disk sub systems.
  • Knowledge of the creation and maintenance of system images and End-of-Life Management of a product.
  • Open, transparent and strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in a multinational R&D organization, German is optional but very advantageous.
