Join us as Live Production Pre-Sales Engineer (m/d/f) on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and identify opportunities.
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical proposals and presentations.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process, including answering technical questions and resolving technical issues.
  • Design and architect customized solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and test new solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation phase.

THAT'S YOU

  • Strong technical background in live production, including a deep understanding of video production workflows, replay systems, and editing tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and remote production workflows.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in simple terms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Mobility and willingness to travel – lives within reach of a major airport
  • Knowledge of video production equipment: Familiarity with cameras, audio mixers, and other relevant hardware is beneficial.
  • Understanding of video formats and codecs: This knowledge is helpful for managing and processing different types of video content.
  • Knowledge of baseband and IP-Video technology (SDI, 2110) Video compression and IP network technology (VLAN, IGMP, ptp, switches…).
  • Basic knowledge of Operating Systems Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
