To strengthen our team in our purchasing department we are looking for a

STRATEGIC PURCHASER (M/F/D) 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d), you will provide the purchasing team with strategic process alignment and optimization and contribute to the overall supplier management strategy
  • This includes the introduction and  usage of modern purchasing tools and methods as well as the application of your own approaches from your experience into existing processes.
  • With a focus on efficiency, you will develop and optimize active supplier and contract management as well as the purchasing strategy in order to achieve the best possible goals.
  • You act as an interface for (key) suppliers and are responsible for the identification, expansion and further development of suppliers in a spirit of partnership in the scope of the overall supplier management strategy.
  • Finally, you initiate cost reduction measures and ensure their implementation, including negotiations on contracts.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • You have successfully completed a business or technical degree and can already demonstrate relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing.
  • Your way of working is characterized by proactivity.
  • You think strategically, methodically and analytically and successfully implement concepts.
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Your willingness to travel, also internationally, completes your profile.
