We are seeking a Manager with experience in managing technical teams both in the pre-sales and post sales environment to provide excellent customer pre-sales and post-sales support.

For this demanding full time job, we are looking for a creative, flexible, pragmatic, self-organized, diligent and team-oriented person for our office in Singapore.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate, lead, and develop a cohesive team consisting of system consultancy engineers and service engineers performing pre-sales, system commissioning and customer support
  • Manage ownership of customer technical sales enquiries such as RFP’s, RFQ’s and RFI’s, liaising with product experts in Europe where required
  • Manage ownership of product demonstrations and proof of concepts (POC’s)
  • Manage ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution, including accurate recording and management of incidents in the service tools
  • Participate in the development of new service and support products, policies, standards and processes
  • Report major technical issues to the headquarters (Service and Product Management), work closely with the other related departments, product management, hardware & software development, production and technical services
  • Lead by example, by demonstrating a constant customer-first mentality and drive customer advocacy and value building internally
  • Ensure processes and procedures are standardized and applied, continuously improving them further in collaboration with leadership counterparts

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successfully completed (technical) university studies, e.g. in industrial engineering, sales or a combination of business and technology
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast or AV entertainment market
  • 3/4+ years’ experience as a team lead / manager
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
  • Expertise with sales and customer support processes and tools / software
  • Knowledge of communication, digital audio and (IP) video technology (AES3, AES67, SDI, ST 2110, ST 2022-6) as well as IP standards (TCP, UDP, IGMP, VLAN, PTP)
  • Knowledge of fiber optic systems and RF systems a plus
  • Strong managing and leadership personality
  • Team player that fits the personality and basic setting of an international, medium-sized company
  • Natural authority, sociable and open personality
  • Self-organized and capable to self-educate on new technologies
  • Ability of cross-domain thinking and willingness to collaborate closely with other company functions using excellent communication skills
  • Mobility and willingness to travel
  • Fluent English as a must-have with other languages (e.g. German, Mandarin) as a plus
