YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sustainable Growth
  • Full responsibility for sales and profit of our Singapore sales unit
  • Implementation of sub-goals arising out of corporate planning for the sales unit Singapore by executing specific, detailed measures
  • Implementing and monitoring of KPIs
  • Leadership, continuous development and coaching of the team, particularly with regard to modern management, sales and marketing methods
  • Support of key accounts and conducting contract negotiations as well as generating new business by managing and developing current channels (broadcast, media & entertainment and corporate accounts) and new clients in related segments
  • Maintain intensive contacts with clients, suppliers and partners to identify long-term trends in demand and supply behaviour
  • Work closely with the other divisions and sales units to implement the findings from market and competitive analysis, in particular product management, development, production, marketing, market trends and project management

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successfully completed (technical) university studies, e.g. in industrial engineering or a combination of business and technology
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast or media & entertainment market, ideally with a personal network (decision making level e.g. C/SVP/VP-Level) and knowledge in the Broadcast, IT or Event industry. Experience with commercial issues as well as in dealing with modern leadership methods is provided.
  • Proven track record of implementing a recurring revenue stream (e.g. SLAs)
  • Knowledge of communication, audio and video technology as well as IT-based systems and their business models such as SaaS and subscription
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership methods, logistics, technical service and coordination of people and resources.
  • Personality is key – We are looking for a stable, entrepreneurial, sociable and outgoing personality with strong persuasion and able to interact and present at C-level
  • Out of the box thinker, problem solver, inventor, creator mentality
  • Team player with the ability to cross-domain thinking and to collaborate closely with other company functions
  • Mobility and willingness to extensive travel
  • Fluent English as a must-have with other languages (e.g. German) as a plus
