The role in a nutshell

The Senior Marketing Manager for the Americas will be responsible for all of the Americas marketing activities, including developing, implementing and measuring marketing strategies  for the Americas markets.

As a regional marketing expert, the position holder analyses market developments and provides insights to the Americas Sales Team and the Germany based Marketing Team (HQ). Leads are to be generated, and sales enablement tools are to be created and provided to the Sales Team. 

Furthermore, in accordance with the global brand strategy the position holder will strive to increase Riedel's brand awareness and product preference in the market. Engaging the company’s market-related functions, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Public Relations, the position holder coordinates product and brand communication across various communication channels.

This is an office based position in our Santa Clarita office and the candidate will report into the Head of Marketing. 

Travel is required by role, namely during trade shows and some on site visits.

Your main tasks

• Develop and implement regional marketing strategies and campaigns to support sales in exploring existing and new verticals
• Contribute to definition of headquarters’ marketing strategy
• Deploy marketing strategy and corporate identity in the territory
• Collect, analyse and process customer data as basis for CRM
• Generate, and qualify leads to be followed up by the Sales Team
• Plan and supervise local trade shows and conferences, represent the company at said events, participate in industry associations
• Monitor brand awareness
• Define unrecognized sales potential based on research and market analysis
• Care for professional PR, establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with assigned media partners
• Create and deliver presentations and speeches for business conferences
• Assist with the development of sales materials specific to the region, e.g. ppt presentations, brochures, and talk tracks

Your profile

  • Successful completion of university business or marketing studies
  • Minimum five years of successful professional marketing experience on either agency or company side
  • Understanding of the nature and demands of Broadcasting, Entertainment, Pro AV and related markets is required
  • Working business knowledge of and practical experience within the given territory
  • Appreciates the importance and use of database management programs (experience with Sales Force is an asset)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Hands-on attitude and pragmatic thinking
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management in a timely, results-driven and respectful manner.
  • Appreciation for the challenge of building new relationships
  • English (fluent to native speaker: is a must); other languages (e.g. Spanish, Portugese, and or French: is a plus)
