Riedel Communications is looking for a full-time Logistics Coordinator in our Logistics
Department. This is an on-site position based out of our Santa Clarita, CA office. It
reports to the Sales Operations Manager and will require availability weekdays and for
compensated on-call and/or overtime service when requested.

Your responsibilities

You will help facilitate communication between production, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.

  • Organizing, loading and unloading inventory in the warehouse
  • Packaging products for safe and secure transport to the recipient
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Help facilitate communication between production, sales and distribution
  • Performing inventory counts
  • Liaise with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Ensuring that distribution and shipment deadlines are met
  • Following existing processes and procedures
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards

Professional record / Expertise

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Full proficiency in English, spoken and written
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Attention to detail
  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
  • Basic administration skills
  • Experience in, or the ability to quickly learn, business enterprise software systems
