Its products are used for broadcast, pro-audio, event, sports, theatre and security applications worldwide. As a result of continued growth, Riedel Communications is looking to hire a talented and motivated candidate to join our Team.

Your areas of responsibilities

  • Leading the System Consultant department, including Training & Demo, in HQ (direct reporting line).
  • Allocating and prioritizing project work (allocating overflow work from subsidiaries, internal projects such as document creation, testing of 3rd party equipment with Riedel equipment)
  • Responsibility for the departmentĀ“s budget, and for the target achievement
  • Coordinating and supporting the System Consultants in all EMEA subsidiaries (dotted line). 
  • Liaising and coordinating with the Leads of System Consulting in the regions Americas and APAC
  • Closely align with the Head of Service & Support to safeguard that pre- and after-sales processes are in line with customer expectations, contributing to a seamless and compelling customer experience as the outcome
  • Organize quarterly business reviews with GMs of the region, in close cooperation with Product Management, to capture experiences and suggestions from the field
  • Significant involvement in the further development of the product and service portfolio (driven by Product Management)
  • Advising major customers on strategic question within their product environment as well as the marketing of our offers in tailor-made / customized solutions
  • Increasing customer penetration and managing customer stakeholders in coordination with the internal sales partner
  • Develop, organize and carry through training programs to familiarize the teams System Consulting, Service & Support and Sales on a global level with Riedel technical solutions
  • Product Management for wrap around products (Choosing products to add to Riedel's pricelist, dealing with 3rd party manufacturers, organising technical assessments)

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed (technical) university studies, e.g. in industrial engineering or a combination of business and technology
  • Proven success in the practice of designing and reacting to customer interactions to meet or exceed customer expectations and, thus, increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and advocacy.
  • Strong experience in a comparable management role in the crossline of technology and commerce
  • Excellent knowledge about cutting edge Intercom and Video technology
  • Entrepreneurial personality who is understood and accepted by senior management, colleagues and staff as a thought leader in his/her field of expertise
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to develop and sustain productive relationships, both internally and externally
  • Independent, process- and solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong interpersonal skills and well experienced in leading and developing a demanding team of highly skilled professionals
  • Eager to learn, open to ideate, design and try out innovative ways of doing things. Capable of cross-domain thinking and searching for close collaboration with other company functions.
